Our Vision
We envision a community free of all forms of violence, where families, businesses and schools co-exist in a synergistic, uplifting, progressive, thriving environment.

                            Our Core Beliefs
                  and Programming Philosophy
It is our most fundamental belief that in order to be effective, Prevention and Intervention Strategies must be Community Specific, Culturally Relevant, Evidence-Based, and Collaborative.  The Multidisciplinary programming we employ in implementing and carrying-out this individual, family and community-fortifying work includes, but is by no means limited to, all the programs further described herein.

                               Our Methods
We Prepare Individuals, Organizations, and Communities to Achieve their Full Potential by providing Academic Support, Violence & Drop-Out Prevention Youth Programs, Entity Structuring, Leadership Development & Training, and Community Support Services.
The causes of academic failure, crime, violence, drug & alcohol use, gang involvement and other anti-social behaviors among young people are multifaceted, complex, and resistant to single treatment or simple solutions as well. Evidence has shown, however, that complex problem solving, or multi-disciplinary approaches, which integrate and coordinate services and protective factors are highly effective in correcting behaviors related to these issues. Preventive and rehabilitative measures have been proven time and again to significantly lower the likelihood of academic failure and delinquency. The most effective programs share the following key components: Education, Recreation, and Community Involvement.

The Rites of Passage (NFLEC 10-Step Model)

The NFLEC Rites of Passage is a comprehensive multi-ethnic, evidence-based, best-practice, youth development program for at-risk youth designed to help them achieve their full potential through progressive educational, vocational, athletic, activity, and proven disciplinary practices.
